Our Little Garden

All set and ready to start my third semester at BYU Idaho! My new roommate Miriam Berry came on Saturday morning, We had fun catching up and getting her all moved in.
Also! Miriam and I started our very own garden! We used our ice container for a pot for our onions, we wanted to plant the flowers we have, but there was not enough room. The solution?? Get more ice cream! Hopefully we can finish it off quickly, so we can watch the flowers grow... Between Miriam and I.. I dont think that will be a problem :)
Im excited for this semester! Im taking a Advanced writing and Critical thinking class, Teachings of a living Prophets, Issues in Global Climate Change, World Foundations Two, Career Exploration, and best for last.... Beginning Clogging class. Cant wait to get started!

Made it!

Woohoo! With the help of wonderfully supportive  friends, family, conference talks and delicious ice cream, I have reached the end of my second semester! The end is always bitter sweet. Bitter to say goodbye to friends, especially thoes leaving on missions. But I am happy for the times that we have spent, and looking forward to seeing them again. Sweet because... No More Homework!! :) This week I am staying in Rexburg to work and rest for the next semester, starting on the 17th. All of my roommates have cleaned up and moved out, Its a little weird coming back each day to an empty appartment, so different from the commotion that comes with living with five girls! Its a good opportunity to read, knit, get organized and some quality time with the worlds best older brother Kyle.

Riding a Bike (:

The Proper way to get on a bike
By: Kyle Lee Wagner
Set the peddle halfway
Stand on right side of bike
Place left foot on peddle
Lean to the right
Push off with Right foot
Glide, Glide and Glide
Swing right leg over Seat
According to Kyle there are only two ways to get on a bike.
1.) The Cool way
2.) The Lame way
Who would have thought that after 20 years of bike riding I had never done it correctly? Today Kyle let me ride 'his' bike. After watching me get on, he told me that I was doing it all wrong. "Its crucial that you know how to get on a bike properly for potential bike riding dates." Kyle
So Tonight he taught me... Its harder than it looks!
Approaching

Peddle half way

Cross left Foot over (Kyle is good at balancing the bike.. for safty)

Swing Right leg WHILE leaning to the right

Final test, ride to Kyle (notice no one is balancing the bike)

Gliding

YES!!!!

Getting off Gracefully? Not so much
(Thanks Seth for providing a bike for this noble cause! No harm or damage was inflicted, its in perfect condition)

Spring has arrived!

The great thing about living through an winter in Idaho is... (any guesses?) the first day of spring! The sun  came out this week, and it was so wonderful! Two of my favorite things to do in the sun
1. Swinging! My appartment is just across the street from a park with a set of swings, I LOVE swinging! When I am on a swing I feel like I can fly, that if I can just stretch my feet out an inch more my toes (you have to swing without shoes to get the full effect) could touch the sky.
2. Hiking R ( Rexburg) Mountian. This weekend I went with some friends to hike R mountain, the view is amazing, the Rexburg temple with the Teton Mountains in the background. I would encourage all to hike it sometime :)

St. Patrick's Day!

Another good week in Rexburg! Finals are coming up, which means we are hustling to finish (and start, procrastination seems to have fallowed me to Idaho!) projects, papers and begin studying for finals. Although... there is always room for fun and bonding with the roommates. Because I live in apartment 314, we just HAD to celebrate March 14th with a glass of cold milk and apple pie. We had all really been looking forward to it all week, and it was so worth it! Its amazing how a nice big slice of pie and friends to share it with can uplift the soul. I firmly believe that if everyone celebrated 3/14 the world would be a happier place. :)
The wonderful Janika had green food coloring, which was a ton of fun for St.Patricks day.
Today It was my turn to teach sunday school, Todays lesson was on Jacob 1-4 "Seek ye the Kingdom of God." I am grateful for the calling I was given, it is challenging and uplifting. Im still learning what it means to magnify this calling, and I have a long way to go. One thing that I have learned though, is that as I lean on the Lord, putting all faith in him, everything works out. I love this church and I love this school, life is so good!

Im a Blogger!

Its official! After following a few blogs ( mainly Heidi Clowards) I have been inspired to start a blog of my very own. Believe it or not I just recently turned 20, and I have found that I dont stay in one place for long, either in Idaho or Oregon and anywhere else I may find myself one day. This is a way for my friends and family, to stay connected with me when we are not together. This blog will be about my exciting adventures in college, people I meet and the things I learn along the way. Im excited to learn more about blogging and cant wait to get started!

(Packing up the shoes!)
