I love my fiance!

I am taking a cit class this semester,
Its great because I get to learn how to
make websites. Todays homework was
make a comment box people could post
in, then have the post be sent to my email.
I had Spencer test it for me.
He wrote this sweet silly message.
I tricked him into thinking I had forgot to
change the email to mine instead of
my teacher. HE THOUGHT IT WAS SENT TO
MY TEACHER FROM ME!
Spencer was a bit stressed when I told him and
possibly a bit grumpy when I began laughing uncontrollably.

Crisco For Dinner

Some creative ideas work out... some sadly just don't. In this life lesson, I learned that pintrest is a wonderful tool.. BUT not always reliable! This meal was a disaster, Spencer and I felt awful immediately after eating it.
This really could have been a great dish if the chicken didnt burn, if the chicken was cooked, AND if it wasnt fried in Crisco :)
Crisco is not a substitute for vegetable oil haha! Spencer fried three chicken breasts. The first one, burnt. Second try, burnt and uncooked. Third time! A charm?? Almost! Not burnt, but still uncooked. The gravy required us to put the "pan drippings" in with the flour. What does that mean? A whole lot more crisco in our dinner :)  While making this there was a lot of laughter and I am pretty sure all the smoke almost drove all Spencers roommates out. Over all experiance; a BLAST!! Cant wait for our next adventure.. Hopefully it tastes better :)

Shopping for an Appartment

Spencer and I are are learning a LOT about each other and how to look for married housing in Rexburg! We look back at how we approached appartment shopping and laugh. ha! We had no idea what to do. Spencer and I thought it would be a great idea to just drive around and look for places that looked good. This does not work! THis is a picture of Spencer calling a number after driving around all afternoon.

The next time we went out, we brought addresses of appartments. This is better, but it is important  to note that just becasue you find the appartment does not mean that you have found the managers office. Then if you were lucky enough to find the office, everywhere is likely to have a waiting list. It was really hard not to feel stressed. One person we talked to said there was a waiting list of 50 people. Crazy!

Finally we started looking on the byui bulliton board, and cragslist for people selling their contracts. This was the first appartment we looked at. A cute place at a decent price. We decided not to go with this one because of the 20 minute drive to campus each day. But just looking at an appartment gave us hope and the energy we needed to press foreward!!!
