Krystal Marie PALMER

I would like to thank everyone who helped in making my wedding so special and memorable. Spencer and I are truly blessed to have such amazing family and friends. Everything was perfect and I am so glad I was able to share it with such amazing people. Thank YOU!
(pictures coming soon)

The first week of our marriage, Spencer and I explored the Oregon coast together. Starting in Brookings, stopping in Gold Beach, Florence, Newport, Sea Side, and ending in Portland. We saw ToNS of beautiful coasts, ate a lot of clam chowder, had a picnic on the beach, went to the sea lion cave, the tillamook cheese factory, multnomah falls, stonehenge and china town. All in all.. The best trip ever!!!

Picnic, enjoying the sun
The perfect swing set, so lucky we found it!
Now we are back in Rexburg, Spencer is studying hard while I am on the hunt for a job.

Moving into our appartment has been an adventure all in its self. We are living at Cental Park appartments, which we love. Its small, but just the right size for us. It has been fun organizing the kitchen, and figuring out where everything should go.
Here are some pictures of some of the first nights here!
Im learning to be a homemaker :)

To Spencer:
Thank you for fasting 24 hours, being worthy and willing to give me a blessing, a chocolate bar for the drive to Idaho Falls, thank you for helping me fill out the medical forms, for rubbing my back when I was nervous, for the feast at Wendy's and the large chocolate frosty, for matching sunglasses. Thank you for making sure I was safe in the Library, for hugging me when I was stressed. Thank you for wrapping me in your blanket and jacket when it was freezing outside, you were shaking as well. Thank you for making the MOST beautiful ginger bread house I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and fears with me. Thank you for your love!

To Christ:

Thank you for trusing me with my calling and for supportive counselors. Thank you for inspiring my fiance to leave class to find me after my appointment. Thank you for the restored church, and a modern day Prophet, for temples that offer eternity and second chance. Thank your for a loving and selfless mother for an example, Thank your for believing in me for you faith. Thank you for chocolate and apples, for the changing of seasons, for my dear sister. I love my fiance!

I am taking a cit class this semester,
Its great because I get to learn how to
make websites. Todays homework was
make a comment box people could post
in, then have the post be sent to my email.
I had Spencer test it for me.
He wrote this sweet silly message.
I tricked him into thinking I had forgot to
change the email to mine instead of
my teacher. HE THOUGHT IT WAS SENT TO
MY TEACHER FROM ME!
Spencer was a bit stressed when I told him and
possibly a bit grumpy when I began laughing uncontrollably.
Read below to understand

Comments: Hey I think your hot!!! And I love puppies! Alot. So I plan on getting you one someday, because I love you. Did I mention that your hot . Extremely so! My Steamy Mcdreamy ;)
  Love, Your Hottie McNaughty!!!

Crisco For Dinner

Some creative ideas work out... some sadly just don't. In this life lesson, I learned that pintrest is a wonderful tool.. BUT not always reliable! This meal was a disaster, Spencer and I felt awful immediately after eating it.
This really could have been a great dish if the chicken didnt burn, if the chicken was cooked, AND if it wasnt fried in Crisco :)
Crisco is not a substitute for vegetable oil haha! Spencer fried three chicken breasts. The first one, burnt. Second try, burnt and uncooked. Third time! A charm?? Almost! Not burnt, but still uncooked. The gravy required us to put the "pan drippings" in with the flour. What does that mean? A whole lot more crisco in our dinner :)  While making this there was a lot of laughter and I am pretty sure all the smoke almost drove all Spencers roommates out. Over all experiance; a BLAST!! Cant wait for our next adventure.. Hopefully it tastes better :)

Shopping for an Appartment

Spencer and I are are learning a LOT about each other and how to look for married housing in Rexburg! We look back at how we approached appartment shopping and laugh. ha! We had no idea what to do. Spencer and I thought it would be a great idea to just drive around and look for places that looked good. This does not work! THis is a picture of Spencer calling a number after driving around all afternoon.

The next time we went out, we brought addresses of appartments. This is better, but it is important  to note that just becasue you find the appartment does not mean that you have found the managers office. Then if you were lucky enough to find the office, everywhere is likely to have a waiting list. It was really hard not to feel stressed. One person we talked to said there was a waiting list of 50 people. Crazy!

Finally we started looking on the byui bulliton board, and cragslist for people selling their contracts. This was the first appartment we looked at. A cute place at a decent price. We decided not to go with this one because of the 20 minute drive to campus each day. But just looking at an appartment gave us hope and the energy we needed to press foreward!!!

Mormon Tabernacle Choir

After spending a few hours learning how to fill out a balance sheet correctly in the accounting lab, I came back to the appartment exhausted! Accounting is hard work and I am so grateful the school has an accounting lab, because it was so helpful. I came back to the appartment to find notes Spencer had left for me around the appartment :) :) He is so sweet! He had stopped by to see if I needed help on my Homework, but because I was in the accounting lab he decided to leave sweet notes for me to find!
The Mormon Tabernacle choir came to BYUI!!!! They are amazing!! It is one thing to see them singing for General Conference, but seeing them live is WAY better!! They were dancing around, clapping and singing. It was an uplifting way to spend the evening.  Life is good a BYUI :)
