Day Two

Touring is fun!!! Today we learned and viewed sights of the early settlers.. I also learned what the word humidity really means! I could write about  SO much, Although I realized that after a full day of touring, I am exhausted and I dont think Ill be able to write as much as I would like about each day. But I will always try to at least have some pictures posted :)

Daddy Daughter Day

Q: How do you communicate with a fish?
 A: You drop a line!
This Morning my dad wakes me up with gentle knocks on the door
its 5:40
"Ready to go fishing?!"
Fishing with my dad is always so fun because usually something intresting always happens. Last time we went together the boat was having troubles starting, once it started we dropped the lines and waited for something to bite.. waited  and waited and waited. It wasnt until later, that we discovered the lines didnt have hooks!! Good Memories!
THIS time though, everything went smoothly. We went to Lost Creek Reservoir, on the way stopping at Phils Frosty's for the best breakfast burritos I have ever tasted. Next we backed the boat into the water, being careful and making sure everything was unhooked correctly. Hopped in, boat started off on the first try and we were off! With the guidance of my father I caught 6 trout! Unfortunately they were puny little guys and we couldnt keep them. My dad caught five, with the same problem. We ended the trip driving around the lake, exploring and jumping over other boats wakes. Thanks for a fantastic morning dad!! Love you!

Reunited

Woohoo!! Summer Break is finally here!! I dont think I have EVER been so excited for summer before! I have been anxiously waiting to see my family for weeks. So after all the papers were turned in, bags packed and appartment cleaned out, my roommate and I sat in front of the door and waited for the white ford to pull up. When the car pulled arounf the corner, my mom ran out of the car, and I ran down the stairs :) I love and admire her so much! Home now and ready to soak up some family love
14 hours in a car = singing and sleeping :)
This is a sleeping train
Been happening since we were old enough to sit in a car
without car seats
Somethings will never change

Reunited at last

WOOHOO!! He is all ready and as excited as I am!!

I have to admit, After waiting so long to cut some hair when everything was finally all ready to go.. I was really nervous! He had explained how he wanted it... shaved up to a certain point then blended in to the longer hair on top. AH!! Although after a few minutes I discovered it was fun! I just kept on cutting and cutting.. It was hard to stop!

After Picture!!
Tada! Although he did have to do a few
touch ups around the ears, and there may have been a little bald
spot on the left side...
I would say it was a
Success!!!

After seeing Shannon At LEAST six days a week since first grade, It was so hard when the college choice came around and we choose different schools... AND different states! But best friends,  stay best friends, and hey, whats a few miles anyway?
SOOO you can imagine how excited I was when, after waiting all day, A little tap tap on the door and my best friend on the other side. There was a lot of screaming, jumping, laughing and possibly some tears. She is so great!! Shannon stayed the night with me friday, while her driving companion/ boyfriend stayed with my brother for the night. We had so much fun Latin dancing, playing Golf, swinging and just laughing. It was so good to be around her again, and Im almost positive I can convince her to move to Rexburg. :) Only time will tell

A good day for letters! Today, on our way to grocery store, Miriam and I made a quick stop to the mail box. Found two letters today, One from my sweet sister, and another from an old friend who just recently left  on mission. Letters are so fun to recieve and even more fun to write back!

Kysa is very good at making her letters colorful and fun, as you can see by the Huge heart :) I think she may love me! Also she included fun pictures from her very first youth confrence.

Feel free to write me in my four weeks left in Rexburg!

My roommate and I before going grocery shopping (notice the backpacks) Kinda hard getting around without a car but on warm sunny days like today we were excited to get out in the sun! Also people are so nice here, when seeing us loading up our backpacks people will offer us rides back to the appartment. Hope everyone has a great week!
